No New Pix Today. . .

Bryanna got released from the hospital today (a day early because she begged) Now she is hurting and not feeling good at all. We took dinner over to them tonight and while we were there she asked if I would stay the night to take care of the baby (and her). So I am heading back over there now to spend the night with them. Darwin has to go back to work in the morning so I will be on nursery duty. My poor baby. . . I hope I remember how to feed and take care a newborn tonight! And I really hope Bryanna is feeling better by morning!
Maybe I will get some pictures tonight?
Sleep Well Friends. . .and pray that we all do too!

How AMAZING My Life Is!!!

That's right you heard it here!!!!
My life is just AMAZING!!!!!
How could I be any happier?
Look as these 2 beautiful little girls.
And to think that I get to be such a huge part of their lives! What a blessing it is NOT to have a job in my case! This makes me completely available to care for, love and teach these 2 wonderful children. It is like a second chance to do what I loved most in my life - only without the pressures I had the 1st time around with my own children. God is truly good!

What an AMAZING Day!!!!!!!!

Mommy and baby are doing great! Everything went really well and I could not be happier! She was born just a few minutes before 1 this afternoon. She weighs 7lb 6oz and is 19 3/4" long. You would not believe how much hair she has!!!! She looks so much like Bryanna did when she was born. I have loaded a couple of photos here for you. . .

This was taken when I very first laid eyes on her (after I wiped my tears that is). She looked as though she was praying. I hope she will always know how much we prayed for her!

Here she is in Lizzy's arms

Look at how tiny her little toes are. . . this is Gary's hand here next to her teeny little foot
Thanks for the prayers friends!
Now I am off to lay down, more pix in the coming days

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!

That's right - Bryanna is scheduled to have London tomorrow at 12:30pm! I can hardly wrap my mind around it. We are so excited to see this beautiful little girl and hold her in our arms.
To all my friends I would like to ask you to be praying for Bryanna and London as well as the Dr's and nurses that will be helping her bring this new life into the world.
I will be sharing photos as soon as I can. I am getting ready to pack up my camera gear as soon as I finish here.
Have a great week friends - I know I will!!!

Just Poppin In. . .

To share a NEW Change to my blog and a new class project with you all.
First the NEW Change:
If you look right below my blogs title you will find two new headings, HOME & UPCOMING CLASSES.
Home is where you are now. This is were I will write all of my nonsense and share the things I am working on with you.
Upcoming Classes is where you will find all the details about my classes. There will of course be photos, dates & times, the description, class fees and any supplies you will need to bring.
I will still share photos of the projects I make here (Home) but you will no longer have to scroll down and look at the right column to find out all of the details. I hope the larger photos and bigger text in this new window will make it easier for you to keep up to date on my classes.
Next I want to share with you my latest class project:
This is a style of journal that I love to make. I have several of these that I keep for different reasons (a photography one, a Christmas list one and so on). I have been asked several times to teach it and I finally decided to do it. So here it is Ladies. . . My "Note Worthy" Journal
What do you think????

I personally love these because they are so easy to take with you if you are on the run. You do not need a table or desk to write on since the covers are nice and hard. The other great thing about it is that you can easily change out the paper if you wanted to once all of these pages are written on. It's got a nice magnetic closure so all of your pages stay nice and straight. In the words of my idol, Martha Stewart "It's a GOOD Thing"!

I hope you all had a great weekend whatever you did. Make it a GREAT week too! I know I plan to, we only have 14 more days to go until granddaughter #2 arrives! My oh my how time flies!!!

The Wait is Over!

Here is the completed Alice project that I gave you a sneak peek of the other day. . .

Click on this photo to take you to the inside to see all of the details

I am so happy with this project - just had to share it! Of course I LOVE G45 papers (who doesn't?) but I really LOVE this paper collection! Just got it in my hot little hands Wed night and had to start in on it right away. So here's the details. . . the box is one of those boxes that look like a book. It has a black book cloth "spine", bling trim, a chain & clock charm as well as a pinwheel flower with a Tim Holtz spinner.

Inside the box a little boardboard book sits. Lots of fold outs and tags inside to keep journaling or photos.

The pages are all black bookboard and bound with a wire and bead binding technique. I had WAY TOO MUCH FUN creating this guy and will be teaching it in early Oct - just in time for halloween. I hope you enjoyed looking at my newest creation and are having a GREAT day! The weekend is just around the corner - can you believe it? If you are in my Shabby Trinket Box class tomorrow (there are a couple of open spots in this class still - call the store) you will be able to see the Alice book/box in person, I will be bringing it with me.
Have a great weekend whatever you do!

Just a Quickie and a Sneak Peek. . .

Hey Friends - it's 2:30am and so this is just a quick post. . . Just wanted to let everyone know I am still alive and well! Bryanna is doing excellent and baby is still on board! Thank you to everyone that kept Bryanna and the baby in your prayers - they worked!!! I can't believe we only have 18 days left till she is scheduled to arrive!!!!! I have been super busy sewing and getting things ready for the nursery and some other crafty things.
In fact - here is a little sneak peek of an upcoming class. . .

Like I said - it's just a sneak - there is LOTS MORE to this project than what I am showing here today. But even if there weren't more coming, wouldn't the combination of the newest G45 papers, Alice in Wonderland and some bling be enough??? I think it would! But keep a look out - I will be posting more soon!
I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying the summer so far. Now I must go to bed. . .
