In this class you will learn the basics of book folding to make sculptures from old books. We will turn our sculpture into a roladex that can be used as a calendar for this year, a phone index, a place to keep your passwords, photos and so much more! Your class project will start with a 12 month calendar and some index tabs as well as 6 side tags, but there is room for tons more in this design if you choose to add them later.

"Santa's Workshop Curio". . .

It's that time of year - Christmas time! Time to decorate, eat, shop and make memories. Why not kick off the season making this cute little wood and glass curio box.

"The Measure of a Woman Shrine". . .

In this class you will actually learn how and build your own shrine from scratch. Shrines are just too much fun and there are so many different reasons to make one. After this class you will know all of the ins and outs on how to construct one for any occasion. You will also learn how to make another one of my favorite paper flowers as well as making all kinds of fun trinkets to decorate your shrine. Come and join us for a fun "Ladies Night"

I am so happy with this project and I hope you will be too. This is going to be an ALL day class and you will need every minute of it. This project is just FULL of goodies! And it’s just in time for Halloween. The box looks just like a book. It even has a black book cloth "spine", bling trim, a chain & clock charm as well as a pinwheel flower with a Tim Holtz spinner.

Inside the box you will find a 5x7 board book. Lots of fold outs and tags inside to keep journaling or photos. The pages are all black book board and bound with a wire and bead binding technique.

This class will be limited to only 10 people – no kits available.

"Note Worthy Journal". . .

This is a style of journal that I love to make. I have several of these that I keep for different reasons (a photography one, a Christmas list one and so on). I have been asked several times to teach it and I finally decided to do it. I personally love these because they are so easy to take with you if you are on the run. You do not need a table or desk to write on since the covers are nice and hard. The other great thing about it is that you can easily change out the paper if you wanted to once all of these pages are written on. It's got a nice magnetic closure so all of your pages stay nice and straight. In the words of my idol, Martha Stewart "It's a GOOD Thing"!

"Shabby Trinket Box". . .

Sat, July 10th / 10:30am - 5pm

Class Fee $35

This box is very similar and uses all of the same papers and techniques as the bigger box did. But with its 6" size it is much easier for me to reproduce in a classroom setting. After the class is over you will know all of the ends and outs of making your own box and can recreate it in any shape, size or theme. You will get a chance to make some of my pretty roses as well in this class. So if you missed out on the flower making class I taught you can at least learn this one! We have 3-D butterflies on the lid as well as some Pearls, Glimmer Mist, Stickles, Distress Crackle Paint and of course Vintage Photo Distress ink! So come learn some new techniques and play with some different products.

Get ready for your summer vacation with this cool Paper Bag Book. Lots of great vintage beach images and plenty of room to journal all about your trip. And since it's a paper bag book there is plenty of room to collect and save mementoes from your trip.
